About NUVU Photography

My name is Ian Thompson and I enjoy taking photos...simple.

Taking a picture gives me the opportunity to capture a moment forever and turn it into a tangible memory.

I am based just outside Belfast in Northern Ireland and my favourite subjects would be people. When shooting, be it portraits, weddings or other situations, the best photographs come from when the subject is relaxed and unaware of the photographer. My main aim is to provide an ‘easy going’ atmosphere when on a shoot.
